A native of New York, John moved to South Florida two years ago and has been the driving force behind the Catering Department of Storks.
In August of 2013, he will assume the duties of General Manager for Stork’s Wilton Manors.
John has been in the restaurant industry since 1979. During his years in the business, he has worked 4 star restaurants, managed Country Clubs,worked as a Captain for Private Parties in East Hampton. He has literally worked hundreds of events during his tenure in the industry.
He has also been very successful in the sales end of the business, selling Catering for Out of the Kitchen in NYC and most recently creating the Catering Department at Stork’s in October of 2011.
He was general manager of a restaurant in the middle of Times Square for 5 years, called Puleo’s. It was a theater district staple for many years and did upwards of 5 million a year in revenue.
John also enjoyed a long affiliation with Morton’s of Chicago.
He is thrilled and excited about this new position and the growth that Stork’s is experiencing.
